yah, you just add UVW modifier, and click acquire, and it will allow you to select another object.

Thanks for the help, but I already tried that and it doesn't seem to work correctly... maybe I should explain.
I've got a mesh mapped with several different UVW maps. (some planar and cylindrical).
After mapping everything, I then went in to UVW Unwrap and laid out all my UVWs.

Now I have a different mesh (with a similar shape as the previous) that I want to map.
Is there any way to transfer (copy) all the UVW Unwrap work I've done from one mesh onto another one?
Thanks again!!

you can copy/paste modifiers such as UVW Mapping by right clicking on the selected modifier in the stack....although i'm not sure this will necessarily work in your scenario

Are you putting the different UV maps in different channels? What about making duplicates of your object, each one with a unique UV map - and then acquire each map independantly?

In addition, Unwrap UVW has a Save... and a Load... button. These let you write the UVs to a disk file and load in another Unwrap UVW, even in a different scene. But the topology will probably have to be the same (same vertex/faces count). If your new object is based on the original one and just vertices have been moved around, this method might help. Note that Unwrap UVW works on a single channel, so you might need multiple to transfer all channels.

It is of course also possible to write a quick script to copy the UVs, but it would have the same restictions regarding topology.
